Brainspark Plc is an AIM listed investment company, focusing on investments in best-of-breed Information & Communication Technology (I&CT) and other fast growing technologies and business sectors, with no geographic restriction.
The core competence of the Company is the vision and the understanding of Information Technology (IT), and how these technologies will be key for the creation of break-through applications, combined with an international network of excellence among researchers and entrepreneurs.
Extensive experience in managing companies and assessing business are core competence of the Company and guide our investment decisions also outside the IT whenever fast growing and properly managed investment opportunities are identified.

Investing Strategy

The core business of Brainspark is identifying new investments consistent with our strategic vision, support their growth and subsequently defining a profitable exit strategy for each of them.
Typically the company invest at the early stage, but also consider first rounds together with other Institutional investors. Pre-IPO opportunities are also considered.
The main goal is building value and this is achieved by identifying interesting companies, primarily, but not only, the technology sector.
It is our believe that quality of management and the market are key factor for the successful fast growth of a company, and whenever we recognise this features in a potential investment we will consider it.
Geographic location is not important insofar it doesn’t prevent the ability to manage the investment and implement an effective exit strategies.
High growth markets like China and India are primary targets for our investment strategy.
